Fun Visit
Saturday, we visited our friends Karthika and Peter, and their baby, Logan. We had a great time!

Karthika had made delicious tea sandwiches and set out some other yummy snacks. We chowed down while catching up and admiring the babies. Logan was born at 31 weeks back in June. He's a champ, though -- he never once needed extra oxygen, despite being born nine weeks early, and now, he doesn't seem much different than Derek in terms of his "skills," like looking around and holding his head up. Logan was adorable. It is amazing how much he's grown!

Jack also made himself quite at home, lounging on Karthika and Peter's couch and stuffing brownie bites into his mouth.

The little imp also kept asking Karthika's mom for "Moh apple juice pwease!" Oh, he knows how to take advantage when he's not at home!
Jack and Johnny also had fun playing outside with Peter while Karthika and I chatted.
Even Atari, who came long for the visit, got in on the fun with Karthika and Peter's dog, Maui.
Despite what it looks like, this was a friendly confrontation. Meanwhile Jack's like, "How can I get in on this?"

So we all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to having Karthika, Peter and Logan come visit us in three weeks. Oh, they also took this picture of us. I'm posting it because we so rarely have family pics!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Halloween is in just five days ... what's everyone dressing up as?

Love that pic of Jack shoving a brownie bite in his mouth! Hilarious! And I could tell that Maui and Atari were playing, but maybe that's because I've always had at least one dog around the house since I was 5. I love when dogs play.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I love that you brought Atari and that he had a friend to play with, too! You guys look great and the boys are just getting too big

I can't believe Aidan is almost one already. And Hannah! I swear she was just born yesterday.
