... here is my latest belly pic. I've been delinquent about taking them. Johnny took this one before he left for work this morning. Here I am, 23 weeks and four days along.

Either I ate too much the night before, or ... there's a baby in there!

Yes, I believe I'm growing! There are just days when my belly seems to have stretched out since the night before. Hard to believe I'll be 24 weeks this Saturday. Johnny and I have scheduled our maternity ward tour for April 22. With Jack, we scheduled our tour so early -- this time, it really snuck up on us. Wasn't until the midwife reminded me to schedule it that I was like, "Oh, yeah! I should!" (Since I won't be at the same hospital this time, we should go figure out where to go when I'm in labor, where to park, what the rooms are like, etc.) It's at a really awkward time for parents with toddlers: 6 p.m. on a weeknight! But, my mom is going to come over to sit for Jack, Johnny will meet me there from work, and we might even go have a quick dinner afterward. Hospital tour + dinner = romantic date. Haha!

    Thanks for looking!

  • you look SO CUTE~!!! i already kinda miss being pregnant. it was so fun watching the belly grow...until the last month when it became unbearably heavy! congratulations btw on the last entry! you have so many amazing things happening~ 3000 sq ft is a great size home. that means when we move back later this year, we'll no longer be neighbors!

  • awwwww look at that lovely baby bump!!!! you look fantastic!!!

  • Awww cute! You look so great!!!

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWW you look so beautiful and glowing.  I'm sure both of you can't wait for the romantic dinner.  It seem like yesterday you said you were expecting again and now your almost there.

  • @wedBliss - Thank you! :) Although, our new house isn't 3,000 square feet (I wish!). It's almost 1,800 square feet. The lot is big, though, so we plan to expand in the future ... if we ever have money again after paying our mortgage each month! ;)

  • AWWWW...so cute! Can't wait to see you on Sunday!

  • Aww you look great Beverly! I like your capri pants too! Have fun with Johnny on your night out- going out to dinner is my #1 fave date, and hey throwing in a hospital tour can only add to the fun lol!

  • You look adorable Beverly! You are all belly.

  • Hey Beverly, I am sorry for not writing since you returned! Thanks for sharing all the fun pictures and videos. I especially like the one with Jack saying bao bao. Anyway, I can't believe you are moving to Torrance!!! We'll definitely have to meet up more frequently then. How would the move impact your birth plan, if at all? I work with a lot of Ob/gyns, and will be happy to ask around about good hospitals for you. Anyway, I just sent you an email. Check it when you have the time and get back to me. Again, sorry I've been gone. You look awesome by the way, and I especially love that other dress you were outside your apartment iwith jack n the earlier entry. I never knew preg moms can be so fashionable. =)

  • you look great and perfect!

i'm afraid to take pics of myself 'cause i look so BIG and look like a whale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, i'm gonna try to take some pics soon... 'cause maybe my last pregnancy! hehehehe,

  • @noraelle - Amy, do not apologize. It takes two to tango, and it's not as though I've emailed you recently! So I apologize, too. Things have just been so busy. Yes, I thought of how we can meet up much more frequently once I'm in Torrance! :) So excited. Thanks for offering to check up on good hospitals, but I'll still be giving birth at UCLA Ronald Reagan hospital, because the midwives and doctors I'm working with for my VBAC are delivering there. If I had a doctor in Torrance who was willing to perform VBACs (vaginal birth after c/s), I would have chosen Little Company of Mary again -- I had a good experience there with Jack, in terms of the postpartum support and breastfeeding support they provided. Have you heard good things about LCOM? Anyway, so since my drs are affiliated with RR, I'll still be going there.

I did receive your email and will be responding very soon! (As soon as I look through my mountain of escrow papers) And thank you for your compliments on my dress! That was actually a non-maternity dress from Express (it's in stores now). I just thought it would be perfect before and after. I would have bought it even if I weren't pregnant; it's so cute! :)

  • Awww...you're this little thing with an adorable belly   You look great!  Hehe...hospital tour + dinner = romantic date   How is the house going?  You don't have to answer that if you still don't want to jinx it.
