Millionth Reason to Love Fall
If you don't agree with the other 999,999 reasons to love fall*, you have to love the fact that lower temps = footie pajamas for little kids. Only heartless, soulless people don't find footie pajamas adorable.
Sure, they're kind of a pain when you need to change a poopy diaper right before bedtime, but they're so undeniably baby-like (unless you're the type of person who buys adult footie pajamas from the SkyMall catalog -- in which case, please don't let me know), and when your child is wearing them, you don't have to worry about covers being kicked off in the middle of the night. Behold the cuteness!
I'm so cute, I can get away with putting my hand in front of my crotch!
Sigh. I'm resigned to my relentlessly picture-taking parents.
Have you melted from the cuteness of footie pajamas yet? Jack has some room to grow in these 18-month ones (as usual, he's tall enough but a little slim for them), but that means I don't have to buy PJs for a while. Unless, of course, they are on sale at Target and are too cute to pass up.

Aww, what a cutie pie! I can't wait to break out Alex's footie PJs, but we're still a bit warm here, and Alex's room really holds the heat from the day. I've stocked up, though - it's just a matter of time!

@petesamprasrocks - Oh, really?? Thank you! Lately I've been not as happy with the quality of my pics, probably b/c I keep seeing pics from people who have those professional-grade digicams. But, for a compact, pocket-sized camera that I can take anywhere, our camera's pretty good. It's a Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph. It's 7.1 megapixels, and has a zoom lens of 3x ... I have no idea what that all means!
I am so totally with you on the footie pyjamas. There's something about them that transports your not-so-little-baby-anymore right back into babyhood.
He is such a muffin!!!!! As usual you are SO on the money with the fall thing...everyday I rejoice in the slowly creeping temps. Bring on the jeans and sweatshirts!!!!!!!!
You know that I love footie pj's...the only issue is when you are potty training. Takes forever to get a kid undressed enough to get on the potty! With Thade, it was easy, just unzip the front and he would pull his undies down just enough to allow himself to pee.....but Steph? Poor girl will have to get naked to go potty. LOL!
i love those footie pj's too. Carla still wears those and i gotta go out and buy 2 more. they are pain when u gotta change diapers... Fall season is the best... holidays are coming and all those joys and christmas songs and all. hehe
Beverly, Someone has already said it, but I had to comment that Jack looks a ton like his dad in that second picture! Seems like he even has the facial expressions down!
That list just gave me chills - I kid you not. I love Fall so much!!! Yay for #1. And add the Peppermint Mochas from Starbucks on there too. I love Jack's pictures and "his" commentary. Hilarious.
@glorycato - Ooooh, peppermint mochas are yummy, but those are more of a winter (think holidays) thing, don't you think?
