Some Quick Pictures!
I don't have much time to update, but I wanted to share some pictures from Michigan. We're having a great time at the cottage with Johnny's parents; Chris, Victoria and Maddy; Shannon, Will and Audrey; and Johnny's Grandma Dorothy. The babies are getting along well. Jack is in the middle of the age spectrum. Jack held up well for the red-eye flight followed by the five-hour drive. He's been sleeping well here, which is no surprise, given all the playing at the cottage and on the beach!
Here are some pictures to tide you over. I'll start reading all your Xangas, commenting and writing more detailed posts again when we return! Oh, and you'll notice I have curly hair in these pictures -- I got a perm the Saturday before we left. I love it! People at work asked me whether I straighten my hair every day; they actually thought I have naturally wavy hair. Mission accomplished! Man, if I did have naturally curly hair, I would never straighten it (yeah, yeah, I know -- grass is always greener on the other side).
The first full day we were here, we visited with our friends Tracy, Nick and their 6-week-old baby Will. They happened to be in town for a friend's wedding. Tracy and I hadn't seen each other in six years!
Holding each other's babies -- hard to believe Jack was ever as little as Will
That night, we went to a special dinner to celebrate my father-in-law's 60th birthday (although he doesn't look a day over 30!) Here are my in-laws with Grandma Dorothy
Johnny and I in front of the restaurant
Sunday morning, Will, Shannon and Audrey arrived after driving all night from St. Louis. Jack and Audrey's first meeting went pretty well -- they were intrigued by each other, or at least, the bounty of toys
Later on Sunday morning, Jack went to his first church service (he behaved well and loved the singing! Johnny was in the choir). He had a shoulder ride with Grandpa on the way to church
Sunday afternoon, we celebrated my father-in-law's birthday officially with a party at the cottage. I spent a lot of time making sure Jack didn't get into trouble! Jack wasn't always so pleased about that

Jack loves to try to pop his cheek like Johnny does
Three generations of O'Neal men
The next day, Shannon and I gave Jack and Audrey a joint bath. Unfortunately, Jack, who normally loves baths, hated sharing a tub with Audrey! He cried the whole time. He'll be sorry in about 15 years!
Tuesday, we took the kids to the beach. Jack and Audrey loved the water
Audrey in her adorable swimsuit
Audrey is 15 months and loves to show off her walking skills

A couple of cute pictures of me and Jack
Victoria and Maddy
Today we mostly just hung out. Johnny took a few pictures while we played with all the kids. Maddy is great at sitting up and entertaining herself -- she's a very well-behaved cutie!
Audrey looks up curiously at her mommy on the couch
Thanks for looking! I'll update on Jack's birthday. Now, off to catch some sleep -- tomorrow's another day of keeping up with three active babies.

wow, the cabin & the woods... everything seems so pretty & peaceful. as for the hairs - jack's hair grew out so much already! and i'm lovin' your perm. it makes you look younger!
haha, pop his cheeks?? i never heard that before. your FIL doesn't look over 30! he looks young! i love your curly hair. i'm thinking about perming my hair too, but sometimes i think it's hard to manange... i don't know. we'll see.
These pictures are so sweet - I absolutely adore Jack. He is just adorable, really. I love your dresses! Looks like you are having so much fun. I hadn't seen my best friend in many years and just visited her last month. She had one child I hadn't met and she had not met two of mine, so it's neat to catch up with friends after so many life changes. So glad you're enjoying the trip!
Have lots of fun! I'll be in northwest Indiana at the end of the month.
Awwww cute pictures Beverly!! I love your curly hair- it looks adorable on you! Yes, if I had curly hair I would never straighten it either -ha! Looks like your are having a blast!! Can't wait to see more pictures!

Looks like fun!
I love the froggie towel.
You look great in the purple dress!!
Aaaahh, I'm so jealous! I want to be on vacation too. Instead, I'm going to a client tomorrow and running after stupid government agencies. Blah.
Loved the 3 O'Neal generation picture.
Oh wow, your father-in-law does look young! You guys look like you are having so much fun! Han and I are planning a trip up North in a couple of weeks because believe it or not, we still haven't been up there! By the way, love the perm. Did Jack notice it? I had my hair permed wavy most of my high school years, but now I enjoy it straight, maybe I'll switch back later. =)
i'm loving the beach pictures. also, maddy looks so much like victoria, don't you think? i was like.. whoa!
Great pics! =) Jack looks like a lot of fun! Your new hair length reminds me so much of your mom!
Sigh. Yet another post proving that you somehow manage to cram 30 hours of productivity into a 24 hour day. Running, bar method, career woman, super mom, loving wife, NOT getting killed by automobiles, looking damn good and posting flattering pictures of all family members - all WHILE on vacation!
Beverly, you're amazing! (Knock if off, you're making the rest of us look bad!)
Your hair looks great! I know how much you like to have it wavy and that it doesn't keep a curl good for you. It looks like you're all having a wonderful time
I'm so glad you have the chance for all this fun family time. The pictures are absolutely wonderful!!!
