Johnny Is 28!
Happy Birthday to Johnny! That's right, my wonderful husband is 28 today. He's really into his "late 20s" now.
I will join him in a little more than three months. I realized this morning that this is the tenth birthday of Johnny's that we've celebrated together as a couple. Hmmm, that means we're either really old or that we met when we were really young. I'm going to go with the latter. Someday, I suppose it will mean both! Anyway, it's incredible to me that we've celebrated 10 birthdays together. Where has the time gone? It doesn't even seem like yesterday that we were college students; it seems like an hour ago. Each year keeps getting better, but it's a bit scary how quickly life seems to be happening.
Jack's birthday present to Johnny was a pat on the belly as Johnny was changing his diaper this morning, accompanied by a very cute uttering of "Papa!" I don't know how I can top that! My gift is our "date night" this evening. I'm also looking into an iPhone for Johnny. I decided not to keep it a surprise; I really need his input on these technology things, so I don't get the wrong item!
Tonight, we are hiring a babysitter and going to dinner at The Lobster in Santa Monica. Then, it's on to meet up with Amy and Han (who are in town apartment-hunting) at Bodega, a wine bar with good atmosphere. Yes, we will be out past 10 p.m. Watch out, Los Angeles!

10 years?! Wow, that is a long time. Happy Birthday to your hubby. I can't believe J said "papa!" I bet that melts your heart. I can't wait til Sophie starts talking or anything comprehensible.
A new Iphone is coming out soon (within a week) with 3G capability and my hubby is crying for one. I'm thinking of suprising him with one as a belated gift (his birthday was yesterday).

And, 10-year is good. This June 29th will be 10-years of Ty and I being together and the 30th will be 1-year of wedded bliss!
Hey Beverly! Have fun tonight with Johnny! What a very pleasant birthday present from Jack! My husband's birthday was this past week too and we have celebrated 11 birthdays together. It's kinda weird that we have been together with our significant others. Anyway, you will be have fun staying home with Jack. I would love to stay home with Aaron too but it's hard nowadays. Now you'll have some time to plan his 1st birthday!

I actually won't be staying at home with Jack until August 1 -- a bit past his first birthday (July 12), but I'm really looking forward to beginning to stay home. It will definitely be tighter financially, but I'm going to do as much contracting work as I can, even if it means working in the late evenings and on weekends. That way I can help out a little money-wise! Still, I'll have to get better about those spending habits ... 
ah! I'm sorry I'm late here on the birthday wishes! HAPPY BIRHTDAY, JOHNNY!!! 28 is still oh so young.

Tell Johnny that it'll be a few more years before he has to "check" a different box! Did he select an iphone yet? They look really cool and functional, although I've heard somewhere that some companies "ban" their use due to security reasons or something. My experience has told me that guys actually don't really care about the surprise element as much as the practicality element, so I'm sure Johnny's elated about his birthday present.
I hope Johnny had a wonderful birthday and that you had a very fun date night!!! Shaun and I have celebrated 12 of my birthdays and 11 of his (12 of his next month). Today is actually our 7 year wedding anniversary
My husband JJ's birthday is a day apart...well, and 2 years (LOL) from Johnny!!!! Happy Birthday to Johnny....oh, and JJ turned 30 on June 7th
